The company has invested in R&D for new products and has established a large network with the leading chemical companies.
Expotan has realized the importance of staying friendly with the environment and therefore has invested in a waste recycling system that has drawn international awareness for both its technology and effectiveness. Expotan is still today fully committed to environmental issues and has further invested in environmental treatments. As of September 1st 2006, Expotan is proud to announce that it has received the Oeko-Text Standard 100 Certification for it products and is the first Fur dressing and Dyeing Company in the world to achieve this recognition.

The company was established by experienced Furriers, who were drawn to the tradition of fur manufacturing in the area. The company specializes in fur manufacturing, raw material supply, industrial textile products, accessories and ready to wear fur garments.
In its next growth phase, Expopel S.A. expanded its capacity in order to serve its customers by establishing an 8000m² production plant in 1995. Today Expopel has become a group of companies with various brand names which provide a wide range of services.
